Butterflies, Nasi Lemak, and Lankan Delights!

Ah, the perfect start to a day out in Kuala Lumpur—a half-day trip, starting with the KL Butterfly Park and ending with some glorious Ceylonese cuisine. But first, let’s talk about the butterflies, nasi lemak, and everything in between!

We kicked off our mini adventure at 8am sharp, leaving home with a spring in our step and butterflies (pun intended) in our stomachs—not from hunger, but excitement. First stop? Nasi Lemak Tanglin! After a smooth one-hour drive, we parked easily, which felt like a small victory considering KL’s parking challenges. It was 9am and breakfast time!

Rain, Traffic and Quick Clicks

Cameron Highlands, located in the heart of Malaysia, is known for its lush tea plantations, beautiful landscapes, and a perfect escape from city life. Recently, I was hoping to capture the beauty of the highlands with my camera. Little did I know that Mother Nature had a different plan for my visit. Rain and traffic jams became the unwelcome companions of my journey.

It have been quite some time back that I went to JB with the Paadavaralam Organizing Crew.So this time went to Kluang with my housemates Raj, Mohan and Jeyganesh and did had a chance to visit to Raj's house as well. I'll never forgot this trip to there, who can forget a journey that took almost 7 hours from KL to Kluang..LOL. We spend a day at Raj's house and went to nearby waterfall ,Raj's old house at Renggam, watch movie at a theater that reminds me "Oor cinema theaterle padam partha feel".

Sindamani a.k.a Cinta Manis

This posting was supposed to be published last year but due to some technical problems I couldn't make it.So finally, came up with this entry.

Brief information
Cinta Manis Cave a.k.a Sindamani Cave located near Karak in Pahang, and the hill is easily seen from the KL - Karak highway. It is a completely isolated limestone outcrop. The cave is used as a small unofficial Hindu temple and you can enter the cave only with barefoot and dressed in vesthi (dhoti),and not permitted to take pictures inside the cave unless permitted by the "Ayyah"(shaman). The cave has a lot of bats and a lot...lot..lot of guano in the cave. When reached the "Amman" temple,I was told it was 17 feet inside the cave..2 things makes me a bit worry
1.The smell.."yemma yenna vaadeda athu,mayakkame varuthe"
(Shit, the smell inside the cave almost make me faint)
2.The darkness.."irukere lightle thidirne rope putusna...setheda nee"
(How if suddenly the rope off and I couldn't image anymore)
